Restoration of the Metin Oktay statue in Galatasaray Metin Oktay Facilities has been completed.
Galatasaray Club, one of Turkey's three biggest clubs, is one of the most successful clubs in the country with the most fans. Metin Oktay, a Turkish football player and coach, has engraved his name in the history of Turkish football, adding a lot of meaning to Galatasaray support and football understanding, but also has a spiritual connection. The Metin Oktay statue is located outside of the club. Destruction and spills occurred on the sculpture because it was left in external conditions for a long time, and we decided to restore the sculpture specifically for this situation. Damaged floors were repaired with applications on the bronze blank sculpture, then it was finished with transfer to its original color. As YUGA, we are honored and proud to undertake this project.
